Meegärtle in Veitshochheim

Short and sweet ;-) Unfortunately no card payment is possible, so only 4 stars, otherwise I would give 5 stars, because prices are cheap, the fries a lot and the steak very big and delicious :-) The salad plate from my wife, also looked very, very fine. Completely happy But when it comes to food and taste, opinions differ ;-)

I'm just taking a break on a bike tour and I'm totally thrilled. Mega fresh salad and the fries can't be improved either. Plus really nice people at the cash register, counter and kitchen. Hats off!

It's right by the river and you can walk to the gardens in 5 minutes. Great beer, great food.

Nice beer garden with lots of shade and a view of the Main. Huge portions at moderate prices. We were not enthusiastic about the taste. Pulled porc unfortunately in a completely spicy sauce, salad tastes like ready-made dressing, bread was dry. The spare ribs didn't fall off the bone and the fries were very salty.

We liked the dark Landbier, the pulled pork is fine, as are the French fries, except the a bit too sweet bbq sauce

Has been there several times now ... alone and with several people. Conclusion: very friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, nice ambience, very clean space. There are sunny spots, but also enough shade from trees or umbrellas. People like to stay there for a long time. The food is reasonably priced, generously sized and has tasted flawless so far! I can only warmly recommend this idyllic beer garden. !!

Nice beer garden. I also think it's good that it is a side dish with the meal instead of fries or the like. (as is often the case in other beer gardens) there is also a salad! :)

Probably the best beer garden in Veitshöchheim, with a view of the waterfront and the Main, is the "Meegärtle". Under chestnut trees you can enjoy the cool drinks and a hearty menu. The service is very quick and friendly. The Meegärtle offers its own sausages, which are very well prepared, while the question arises as to when a "currywurst" is a typical currywurst - it tastes good anyway. In this beer garden there are also juicy spare ribs that are not easy to find in the area. This beer garden is worth a recommendation for both holidaymakers and locals. Its proximity to the port makes it an ideal stopover on a main boat trip.

Vacation stop: Veitshöchheim! Best beer garden -> Meegärtle !!! You can't go wrong here. And why? - Beer garden clean and equipped with nice big chestnut trees - Food (EVERYTHING under 10 €!) Excellent, tasty and quickly prepared [especially the ribs and the pulled pork] 😉 - nice, courteous staff - toilet ok
